Audrey Tautou

Audrey Tautou was born in Beaumont in Puy-de-Domme France on the 9th of August, 1976. She was the youngest child of four. Her parents, a dentist and a teacher recognised and backed her love for theater and acting from a young age which overcame her initial ambition to become a primatologist thanks to her love of monkeys. Early success and a rapid increase in recognition marked her as a young actor. Before she began to pursue an acting career she took part in Jeunes Premiers an French show on TV that focuses on talent sponsored by Canal+ in 1998. She also won the title of Best Young Actress for the Beziers Festival of Young Actors. Tautou went to church and Institut Catholique de Paris during her early years, but now dissociates herself from her childhood. She has pursued a modeling career along with her acting career. She is the face of L'Oreal Mont Blanc and Chanel is often called the Chanel Muse. Recently, at Arles Arts Festival, Arles Arts Festival, she showed a collection of photographs under the name Superficial. She focuses her photography on celebrities, fame and the media who scrutinized her following her fame-making debut as Amelie. There are also numerous photographs of herself. Audrey Tautou became a star after her international fame was established with her role debut as Amelie Poulain from Le Fabuleux Destin d'Amelie Poulain. Amelie was a box-office international film that received acclaim during awards ceremonies across all over the world. It's the most-grossing French film to be released in the United States. Following the film, she appeared in numerous films ranging from British dramas and Jean Pierre Jeunet's film Un long dimanche de fiancailles. She then moved to Hollywood and was in the film with Tom Hanks alongside Ron Howard in The Da Vinci Code by Dan Brown.
