Her birth date was March 29, 1985, in Roswell New Mexican. Her given title is Gerina Mendoza. Gerina Stevenson is the daughter of Mexican grandparents Rita Stevenson and Alan Stevenson. The mother of two is Mexican American and is an American by nationality. From a young age the desire for her to be engaged in sport was strong. Gerina was a golfer for the first time at the age of fifteen. Gerina was a student at Goddard High School for her higher education in high school. As a high-school student she won the New Mexico Golf State Tournament. Also, she played volleyball at the level of state. The year 2003 was the time she began her studies at the University of Texas. In her senior year she took home the top prize in every competition that was entered. Through her college professional career, she took home her the Conference USA Individual Champion Player of the Year and UTEP Female athlete of the year.
