Felicity Jones is an British actress most popular in the role of Jane Hawking in the critically acclaimed movie The Theory of Everything. Jones is an actress since she was twelve, has appeared in numerous TV shows and films. The first film she appeared in was The Treasure Seekers, a television film. In the following film, The Worst Witch (a television show) she played Ethel Hallow. The sequel The Weirdsisters College was also made. In her first feature film Flashbacks of a Fool (which she starred in), Young Ruth, she went on to play in other movies. Her acting gained her fame in films such as The Invisible Woman, and The Amazing Spider-Man. It was however her character on The Theory of Everything' that won the actress an Oscar nomination for the first time. The biopic was inspired by the scientist Stephen Hawking, and Jones was highly praised by audiences and critics due to her impeccable performance as Hawking's wife. Inferno, an Tom Hanks thriller was her next role. In the year 2016 The British Academy of Film and Television Arts Los Angeles named Jones to be the British Artist of The Year for her talent and contributions to the cinema.
